The Company - Over 20 years in business in the Central Texas Area. Austin Power Equipment was conceived in 1994 and opened for business in 1997 as the improved option for sales, rental, service, parts and attachments for compact construction equipment.

Products and Services – We are proud to be an authorized dealer for the full line of Mustang compact equipment. Mustang has an excellent reputation for innovative product design and very high product quality. We also offer Manitou brand telehandlers, Boxer Mini Skid Steers and brush chippers, and numerous extreme quality attachment lines.

We offer sales, service, rental, parts, and attachments. These products and services are also provided with new and used equipment including bobcats, backhoes, trenchers, tractors, rocksaws, and equipment you would typically find on construction sites. We maintain a full rental fleet of these types of compact equipment, with various rental attachments. Our service department is well trained and specializes in compact construction equipment.

Where we fit in: our strategies are to fulfill the customer’s needs as quickly as possible and provide top quality repair service. We always keep the customer first and foremost.

Facility – 4 acre equipment yard, Office bldg, Warehouse, 1800 sq ft fully equipped service facility located in convenient northwest Austin area.

Our Customers: It takes time, effort, and expense to provide the complete satisfaction that customers deserve. Therefore we concentrate on attracting high quality customers and providing the superior level of service and attention to detail that they have earned and deserve. Our customers include residential and commercial construction, rock quarries, material or "landscape" yards, farms, ranches, homeowners, municipalities and local governmental entities, utility providers and rental yards.

Product Support: Our product support philosophy is based on simple principles. Be there on time. Be prepared with parts and tooling necessary. Manage priorities, keep customer informed and comfortable with what is being done, no surprises. Provide expert knowledgeable and experienced technical service of exceptional quality and fix it right the first time. Take the role of equipment management off the customer’s shoulder. Administer the PM schedule. Be professional, placing priority on the customer’s needs. We will always do everything in our power to keep the customer “in business” as far as his equipment is concerned. His success equals our success.

We service everything we sell or rent, new or used. Service specialization is in compact equipment. We have a preventative maintenance program in place with computerized tracking and scheduling. We recognize that the owner/operator, individual or small contractor is the primary market for compact equipment. He should be treated as a V.I.P. with as much, if not more, emphasis on product support than the biggest contractors. He may own only one machine. When he has equipment trouble, he may be completely out of business until such time as he is up and running, or a replacement on site.

Our strengths include Honesty - we show up when or before we said we would. Quality - we fix it right, do not do shoddy workmanship or have to do the job twice to get it right. Efficiency - we are able to provide very reasonable pricing due to being properly prepared for each job. Experience - we have certified and factory trained equipment technicians.
